Electrical equipment and lighting

The "Electrical Equipment and Lighting" (EEL) section of the design documentation is dedicated to all engineering solutions related to electricity at the facility.

The EEL section includes:
  • Text section — General information, technical specifications, description of design solutions, safety measures
  • Graphic section — Drawings, diagrams, and plans that clearly demonstrate all elements of the electrical network.

The "Electrical Equipment" section includes the design of electrical panels, cable lines, and distribution devices. It may also include:
  • Power supply — diagrams for connecting the facility to the external network, power calculations, and equipment selection.
  • Socket network — specifies the number and location of sockets, as well as the type of sockets (standard, grounded, or waterproof).

The "Lighting" section includes the design of lighting systems: interior, exterior, and emergency. It may also include:
  • Illumination level calculations
  • Lighting fixture selection
  • Lighting fixture placement.
